Tie-died Scallop Quilt
This is an idea I got out of a McCalls Quilting Magazine and I thought I would be ambitious again, and instead of doing a straight edge on this quilt I bought a template and made a scallop boarder for this quilt... Lesson learned for this quilt was to was material first because the colors actually ran after my first washing of this and so after many washes, and using a color catcher, it has almost revived itself... Hope you enjoy...
Imperial Splendor
Can you believe that this was my very first quilt I ever did... I decided to leave my corporate health care position last April and do private duty... So I went to a local fabric store and bought a quilt kit and went for it. Some would say that I was quite ambitious for starting a quilt that was at a level of intermediate... I told them I am always up for a challenge...
Nantucket Trellis Quilt
This quilt I received as a gift from my husband on my birthday and I started it in Dec. 2010. I brought it into the Tumbleweeds Quilting shop on Wednesday March 9, 2011 and the Manager Mary took a photo of it and posted it on there blog: tumbletalk.blogspot.com and there you also can view some other wonderful pieces of work other quilters have done. I have just learned to qulit last spring and have just gone wild with wanting to do more and more projects...I do hope you enjoy the photos I provide for you...
